Terms & Conditions

• "Platform" — the Know-Now web application and all associated services
• "User" — any individual or organisation accessing the Platform
• "Subscription" — a paid or trial licence to use the Platform
• "Content" — data, text, files, and information uploaded or generated on the Platform

By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind your organisation to these Terms, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Subject to your Subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your internal business operations. You may not sublicence, resell, or provide access to third parties without our written consent.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date account information
• Keep login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Use the Platform only for lawful business purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform
• Not upload malicious code, viruses, or infringing content
• Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection laws

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You retain ownership of your business data. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the services.

We act as a data processor on your behalf for the purposes of GDPR. We will process personal data only in accordance with your documented instructions and our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available on request.

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content created by us, are owned by DeftNtact Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any IP rights to you. You retain all rights to your own data and content.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed in connection with the Platform. This obligation survives termination of these Terms for a period of 3 years.

We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services, force majeure events, or actions outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeftNtact Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

Either party may terminate the Subscription with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you will lose access to the Platform and we will delete or return your data per our data retention policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For EU/EEA users, mandatory consumer protection rights under local law are not affected.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you at least 14 days before significant changes take effect via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
